To install 247Garden's 3/4 inch PEX-A Expansion Ring, follow these steps:
- Place the expansion ring onto the PEX-A tubing, ensuring it extends beyond the tubing end by no more than 1/8 inch.
- Utilize a manual or cordless expansion tool designed for PEX-A tubing. Insert the tool into the tubing and expand it.
- Remember, use the appropriate expander head for your PEX-A tubing size. For instance, for 3/4 inch PEX-A tubing, employ a 3/4 inch expander head.
- Rotate the expander head after each expansion to prevent internal ridges on the tubing.
- Once expanded, insert the fitting until it reaches the shoulder, allowing the PEX to naturally contract around the fitting.
- After a few seconds, the tubing will securely wrap around the fitting, ensuring a tight connection.
- Your installation is complete and ready for use.
